Key Responsibilities
- Drive Innovation: Oversee the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge IT applications that propel our company forward.
- Champion Security: Safeguard our IT infrastructure with a keen understanding of security risks, ensuring robust controls and risk mitigation.
- Enhance Efficiency: Streamline IT operations, boosting efficiency and managing costs to deliver top-notch results.
- Improve Processes: Identify and implement improvements in IT support processes, driving continuous enhancement.
- Collaborate & Lead: Partner with management at all levels to align IT with our growth objectives and enhance service delivery.
- Set Standards: Develop and enforce best practices and internal controls to ensure high-quality IT services.
- Plan for the Future: Manage IT business continuity, security, and disaster recovery planning, ensuring we're always prepared.
- Budget Oversight: Work alongside the VP of Finance to manage the IT capital and expense budget effectively.
- Evaluate & Recommend: Assess infrastructure hardware and software, making strategic recommendations for future investments.
- Build a Winning Team: Ensure we have a core team of IT professionals who deliver best-in-class solutions.
- Stay Ahead: Research and recommend emerging cloud technologies to enhance flexibility and cost-effectiveness.
- Educate & Advise: Keep up with IT and security trends, advising executive teams on their impact and importance.
Requirements
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in IT management and infrastructure planning, with a track record of leading high-performing teams.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in MS Office365, MS Active Directory, MS Teams, MS AD, Windows 10, Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2019(R2)), Linux, DNS, DHCP, Basic VOIP, IPSec VPNs, Fortigate firewall, VLANs and Routing
- Knowledge of software platforms: UKG Pro, HES, CAS, Sharepoint, ERP software, Sage 50 and PBXact phone system
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities with a focus on translating technical solutions into tangible business value.
- Project Management: Exceptional project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and manage change effectively.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work well with diverse teams and handle sensitive information discreetly.
