We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Dermatology Physician to join our team at MedChi, The Maryland State Medical Society.

Position Summary:

As a Pediatric Dermatology Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care services in our outpatient clinics, inpatient consultations, and shared call responsibilities. You will also have the opportunity to teach and mentor rotating pediatric and dermatology residents, as well as medical students.

  • Provide patient care services in outpatient clinics and inpatient consultations
  • Participate in shared call responsibilities
  • Teach and mentor rotating pediatric and dermatology residents, as well as medical students
  • Collaborate with our ACGME-approved fellowship program in pediatric dermatology

About Our Department:

Our pediatric dermatology department is a busy and dynamic service with four attending physicians, advanced practice providers, and two designated dermatology nurses. We currently staff two satellite clinics in surrounding communities and perform approximately 2500 outpatient consults/year, over 450 new patient visits, and manage 150 inpatient consult visits/year.

Requirements:
  • MD or DO degree
  • Current Arizona License to Practice Medicine or the ability to obtain prior to start date
  • Board certified/Board Eligible in the appropriate specialty
  • The ability to move freely from facility to facility
  • The ability to communicate by telephone, computer, or other communication devices
  • The ability to perform after-hours or night call responsibilities as needed
  • The ability to work regularly scheduled work hours
  • The ability to work well under pressure
