Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Waste Connections. As a Fleet Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our truck fleet and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform repairs and maintenance services on diesel engines, electrical and hydraulic systems, and other vehicle components.
  • Utilize vehicle computer electronics systems to diagnose and repair complex issues.
  • Conduct regular safety checks on vehicles and equipment to ensure compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
  • Complete required paperwork and documentation using fleet maintenance software.
  • Review and complete repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
Requirements
  • Valid Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift at least 50lbs repeatedly.

Work Schedule

2:00pm-10:30pm, Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays.
