Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our Emergency Department team at The Medical Center of Aurora. As a Paramedic, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Responsibilities
  • Implement technical procedures and care to Emergency Department patients safely and effectively.
  • Work responsibly under the direct supervision and responsibility of the Emergency Department (ED) physicians performing care for patient(s) in accordance with physicians orders, policies, procedures, established standards and administrative policies.
  • Perform lab testing as assigned based on protocol of each test, documenting results and communicating critical as defined.
Qualifications
  • Current Colorado Emergency Technician (EMT P) or (EMT B) License.
  • IV Certification is required.
  • NREMT P required.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Current ACLS certification.
  • Current PALS certification.
  • ENPC and TNCC is preferred.
  • NREMT P is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a field paramedic with an EMS agency and/or clinical experience working in a hospital.
