Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Maintenance Technician to provide reliable maintenance and repair services for our account.

The ideal candidate should possess strong problem-solving abilities, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to ensure that our sites are safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Completing light carpentry work, such as building shelves, repairing doors, and installing new hardware.
  • Painting walls, ceilings, and other surfaces as needed.
  • Performing general repairs and maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery.
  • Inspecting and maintaining the overall cleanliness and functionality of the areas and work under your responsibility.
  • Assisting with setting up and dismantling furniture and equipment for meetings or events.
  • Responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritizing tasks based on urgency and communicating all issues back to the customer.
  • Maintaining an inventory of tools and equipment and ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Following all OSHA and account safety guidelines and protocols when handling tools, chemicals, and equipment.
  • Collaborating with other team members and contractors to complete larger projects or repairs as well as other duties as assigned.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role, preferably in a commercial or business setting.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in multiple areas such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, and general maintenance.
  • Proficiency in using various hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements include:

  • High School Diploma
  • Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Flexibility and positive attitude in managing shifting daily priorities and high volume of guests
