Nurse Director Emergency Services Leadership Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Nurse Director to lead our Emergency Services team at St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, California.
As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the activities within our designated departments to ensure high-quality patient care and excellent outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Direction: Provide leadership direction to SMMC staff to meet the balanced commitments and core values of St. Mary Medical Center.
- Nursing Care Delivery Process: Facilitate the development and management of the nursing care delivery process for designated nursing units ensuring that policies, procedures, standards of care, and standards of practice are consistent across the nursing organization.
- Quality Improvement: Ensure excellence in patient care delivery consistent with JCAHO, Title 22, and other related regulatory agencies through annual performance appraisal and competency-based practice standards.
- Budget Management: Develop, monitor, and analyze labor, operational, and capital expense budgets in assigned areas and assure appropriateness of human and material resources allocation.
- Masters Degree in Nursing or related healthcare field (preferred)
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing
- California Registered Nurse License (Vendor Managed)
- 5 years of progressive managerial experience in healthcare
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to bring diverse groups of people together as a team to achieve quality care
- Strong skills in daily operations and budgetary management

The estimated salary for this role is $124,848 - $202,319 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
