The Plant Engineer plays a critical role in driving key strategic site initiatives, ensuring the success of the KDP flagship beverage manufacturing facility in Irving, TX. This position requires collaboration with corporate engineers, functional leaders, contractors, and vendors to implement the capital plan and generate buy-in with the site team.


Responsibilities



  • Prepare, plan, and direct capital and expense project activities, including engineering design, quotations, scheduling, installing, and start-up, with the objective of completing the project on-time and within budget.
  • Drive projects to successful completion, resulting in highly satisfied customers and effective product solutions that support business growth objectives.
  • Identify and capture opportunities for improvement in equipment efficiency and reliability.
  • Conduct regular status meetings with all stakeholders, keeping stakeholders' needs and requirements continuously in view.
  • Establish clear ownership for project tasks within the team and a clear schedule for when each task will be performed.
  • Participate in technical audits and compliance assessments, and follow up on closure of remedial action plans.
  • Oversee the installation of all capital-related facility equipment.
  • Oversee work, set or edit standards, policies, and procedures for Vendors and Contractors.
  • Manage financial aspects of the CAPEX process, including annual budget development, capital planning, and administration.
