The Derby Recreation Commission (DRC) is searching for passionate and skilled part-time culinary instructors to lead engaging cooking classes at the Hubbard Art Center. Our state-of-the-art demonstration kitchen provides a dynamic learning environment for students of all ages.

As a Culinary Arts Instructor, you will play a vital role in fostering culinary creativity and knowledge within our community. You'll guide students through hands-on cooking experiences, sharing your expertise in various cuisines and techniques.

• Deliver engaging and informative cooking classes to diverse groups of students.
• Create a positive and encouraging learning environment that fosters culinary exploration.
• Demonstrate proper cooking techniques, emphasizing safety and sanitation practices.
• Prepare lesson plans and materials to ensure a well-structured and enjoyable learning experience.
• Collaborate with the Program Coordinator to maintain class schedules and communicate effectively.
