Job Complexity: A foundational understanding of laboratory protocols and equipment is essential. The ability to effectively communicate and engage with both internal and external stakeholders is crucial. Familiarity with laboratory information systems is required. This role demands critical thinking abilities, strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the capacity to operate with minimal oversight. Candidates must be able to thrive in a high-pressure environment and respond appropriately to challenges.
Required Experience: No previous experience is necessary.
Additional Information: Candidates must hold a license as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Supervisor. Educational qualifications include graduation from a NAACLS accredited program, as mandated by Florida state licensure. A valid license in either Clinical Lab Technologist or Clinical Lab Supervisor is required.
