Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and drive the success of various tax engagements.
  • Conduct initial reviews of intricate tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
  • Engage closely with clients to deliver innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance services efficiently.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through effective communication, expectation management, and timely delivery of services.
  • Collaborate with Partners and Senior Managers on client management and business development initiatives.
  • Guide, develop, and mentor junior staff, including conducting performance evaluations.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and educational opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient technical skills in tax preparation, compliance, and research.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a creative and logical approach.
  • Proven capability to manage multiple engagements under tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional leadership and mentoring skills, fostering strong client and team relationships.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Profx systems and related software is advantageous.
  • 7+ years of tax experience in a mid to large CPA firm environment.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting is required; a Master's in Taxation is a plus.
  • CPA Certification is mandatory.
  • Willingness to work in the office a minimum of three days per week.
