Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Indiana Fitness Works Inc. in a long term care setting, with a focus on geriatrics.

About the Role

  • Provide respiratory care to residents, with a focus on geriatrics
  • Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer and document respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor and record vital signs, such as oxygen saturation levels and heart rate
  • Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and disease management
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive resident care
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide basic life support as needed

Requirements

  • Certified RRT, CRT, RCP, RN or LPN
  • Current Indiana Respiratory Therapist license preferred
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Basic life support certification required
