Electrical and Controls Team Lead

At Becton Dickinson, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead to join our Electrical and Controls Engineering team. As a key member of our pharmacy automation hardware development team, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, test, and manufacturing readiness of our pharmacy automation equipment.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that will have a significant impact on the healthcare industry. You will lead cross-functional teams, collaborate with global hardware teams, and develop innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sustained success in the execution of complex robotic hardware development initiatives, as well as experience working with regulatory certification bodies. Strong attention to detail, adaptability, communication, and a willingness to work in a collaborative team environment are essential skills for this role.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and participate in new product development and sustaining activities for existing product fleet
- Develop electrical and controls solutions for changes to existing products
- Create, update, and release technical documentation to support the electrical aspects of systems being developed
- Ensure compliance with quality management systems and regulatory requirements
