We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery Specialist to join our team at Reston Hospital Center. As a key member of our maternal child health team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission to deliver high-quality healthcare services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to labor and delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in maternal child health.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety and quality by identifying and reporting potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the hospital's commitment to patient satisfaction and family-centered care.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Neonate Resuscitation certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Associate's degree in nursing or higher.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in labor and delivery nursing.
