- Assess resident needs and develop comprehensive care plans.

- Supervise and mentor nursing assistants and other support staff.
- Conduct regular rounds to monitor resident well-being and care standards.
- Document all services rendered for accurate billing and compliance.
- Implement nursing policies and educate staff on best practices.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to address staff and resident concerns.
- Promote a positive work environment and maintain professional relationships.
- Review documentation for accuracy and completeness on a weekly basis.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
- Manage staffing needs and arrange for coverage as necessary.
- Track and analyze care trends to enhance service delivery.
- Participate in special projects and additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse license in New York.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
- At least two years of experience in long-term care or significant management experience in acute care settings.
- Active CPR certification.
- High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong independent working skills, flexibility, and personal integrity.
