Cedar Park Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team on the Night Shift. As a Registered Nurse at our facility, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate assigned patients and develop individualized care plans
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
- Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse
- Promote patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited RN program. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Texas, or license with a compact state required upon hire
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in an acute care hospital Med/Surg unit preferred
- Orthopedics experience highly desired
- Telemetry experience preferred
