Position Overview:
This opportunity is hosted by Jobot. We are seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Senior Accountant.

Compensation:
Annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough analytical assessments of Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet accounts.
- Support various accounting functions, including financial accounting, accounts payable, receivables, and month-end closing activities.
- Execute month-end procedures such as journal entries and account reconciliations for prepaids, accruals, taxes, and other assigned accounts.
- Monitor and resolve discrepancies related to balance sheet accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports in accordance with established accounting principles and standards.
- Oversee the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoice payments.
- Manage customer invoicing and track outstanding receivables, ensuring compliance with agreed payment terms.
- Supervise invoice management, including verification, approval, and reconciliation processes.
- Reconcile and manage relationships involving dual customer/supplier roles.
- Calculate rebates, discounts, and conduct revenue-related analyses.
- Assist in analyzing departmental expense reports and other financial documents as necessary.
- Contribute to the maintenance of internal controls over accounting functions to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Support quarterly and annual audit processes.
- Maintain and update a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
- Identify and recommend enhancements to accounting processes and procedures.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement process improvements.
- Create, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Participate in financial audits.
- Handle special projects and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Experience with mid to top-tier ERP systems.
- A minimum of three to five years of progressive experience in an accounting department with general ledger responsibilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of accuracy in data analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and vlookups.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Capacity to maintain confidentiality of sensitive company information.
