Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist

Join our team at Willis-Knighton Health System as a Certified Surgical Technologist. As a key member of our operating room team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support during surgical procedures.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting and be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS). Neurosurgery experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:
  • Work in a team-oriented environment with duties in a 13 operating room facility.
  • Handle robotic, bariatric, neuro-spine, neurovascular, urology, and transplant cases.
  • Participate in weekend rotation and be on call as needed, with a 30-minute call-back response time.
  • Required to pass an EKG competency exam before arrival.
  • Flexibility in schedule is mandatory, may be scheduled to work on holidays.
  • Work closely with the anesthesia team/CRNA and physicians during weekdays, with call coverage after hours.
  • Be adaptable to work in various units including ophthalmology and CVOR depending on experience.
  • Follow scrub color policy and maintain professional attire.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of OR-specific experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Neurosurgery experience is highly desirable.
