Job Summary

K.A. Recruiting is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pathologist Assistant to join our team. As a Pathologist Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our laboratory services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Specimen Accessioning and Preparation: Accurately accession and prepare surgical specimens for examination, ensuring that all necessary information is documented and recorded.
  • Dictation and Dissection: Dictate and dissect specimens to prepare them for examination by pathologists, utilizing advanced knowledge of anatomy and pathology.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Ensure that all laboratory procedures are performed in accordance with established protocols and standards, maintaining the highest level of quality and consistency.
  • Technical Services Coordination: Coordinate and lead technical services, including training and mentoring of laboratory staff, to ensure seamless operation of our laboratory services.

Requirements:

  • Education and Certification: ASCP Certification or Eligibility required.
  • Experience: Willing to accept new graduates.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
