Work Schedule and Job Requirements
We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our inpatient and ambulatory care teams at UW Health. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team to provide high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine physical exams and focused health histories to assess patient needs.
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing to establish a working diagnosis and develop a treatment plan.
- Prescribe medications and/or treatment and monitor patient's response.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Education and Experience
The successful candidate will have a Master's or Doctorate's degree from an accredited Nursing Program or a Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited PA Program. A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience is preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
The candidate must have active licensure and certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Wisconsin, including prescriptive authority. Additionally, the candidate must have active board certification as a NP or PA in their area of clinical practice.
