Assembly Mechanic

Axon, a division of Pro Mach, is seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and erecting complex mechanical assemblies and complicated mechanisms. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be essential in ensuring that the equipment meets performance standards and requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble complex mechanical units, requiring a high degree of problem-solving and skilled workmanship.
- Read and interpret engineering prints, specifications, and manufacturing manuals to determine necessary assembly of machine.
- Troubleshoot electrical controls using Multimeter, Amp meter, and/or oscilloscope.
- Plan assembly procedures and methods to ensure efficient and timely progress.
- Inspect parts for proper machining finish and dimensions, and check sub-assemblies and units.
- Use precision measuring and gauging instruments to inspect and verify conformance of parts to specifications/tolerances.
- 3-4 years' experience as a machinery assembler is preferred.
- High School or equivalent, technical degree preferred.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to stand, sit, crawl, squat, kneel, twist, bend, and reach above the shoulders as required to perform essential job functions.
