Position Overview:

As a key member of our healthcare team at LanceSoft, you will serve as a Long-Term Contingent Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This role offers the potential for conversion to a Full-Time Employee (FTE) position, with a commitment of 30 to 40 hours per week, including possible floating to nearby locations and alternating weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for:
  • Delivering comprehensive, evidence-based patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health issues.
  • Conducting phlebotomy and specimen collection.
  • Administering immunizations and injections, along with providing patient education on vaccination.
  • Performing patient intake assessments and vital sign measurements.
  • Executing diagnostic tests such as EKGs and retinopathy screenings.
  • Conducting point-of-care testing, including COVID-19 testing.
  • Facilitating patient registration and enhancing the overall patient experience.
  • Preparing the clinic environment to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Contributing to our mission of promoting better health through exceptional patient interactions.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • At least one year of relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in documenting within an Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
  • Ability to perform vital sign assessments, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to pass a FIT test and adhere to safety protocols.

Preferred:
  • Phlebotomy certification or relevant experience.
  • Previous work experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings.

Education:
The LPN must possess a full, active, and unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the United States.
