Position Overview:
This role is a full-time opportunity with shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM, scheduled Thursday through Saturday, and every other Wednesday.

Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.
- Must meet all state and local certification requirements as a Certified Nurse Aide and for Food Handling.
- A strong commitment to person-centered and resident-directed care is essential.
- Completion of cross-training in household activities, including housekeeping, laundry, and food service is required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Address all resident and household needs by actively assisting in tasks as per training and certification.
- Provide clinical support by attending to personal hygiene and care needs of residents, including grooming, dining, mobility, and safety.
- Encourage residents in self-care and provide necessary assistance for those who need it.
- Adhere to universal precautions and maintain proper infection control and sanitation standards.
- Engage in resident care planning and conferences, advocating for residents' preferences.
- Monitor residents closely, identifying any changes in needs or conditions, and report to nursing or household leadership as necessary.
- Collaborate with household team members to fulfill the needs and preferences of all residents.

Dining Services:
- Assist in preparing and serving nutritious snacks and meals, requiring food handling certification.
- Support residents who need assistance during mealtimes and foster a pleasant dining atmosphere.
- Help with kitchen-related tasks for residents.

Life Enhancement:
- Aid in planning and organizing social activities for individuals and small groups.
- Actively seek opportunities to support the social needs of all household members through friendship and kindness.
- Facilitate spontaneous activities based on resident choices and preferences throughout the day.
- Share personal interests and talents with residents through both planned and spontaneous activities.

Housekeeping:
- Ensure cleanliness in resident rooms and common areas, as well as support spaces and equipment.
- Maintain an adequate supply of materials to meet resident needs.
- Coordinate with the household homemaker to fulfill housekeeping requirements within staffing resources.

Laundry:
- Assist in maintaining residents' personal laundry in good condition.
- Work alongside the household homemaker to ensure personal laundry needs are met within available staffing resources.
