Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Handler to join our team at IWS, LLC. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Warehouse Operations: Safely maneuver forklifts within the facility, stacking and unstacking goods onto shelves or pallets, and moving goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport.
  • Delivery and Relocation: Unload deliveries and safely relocate goods to their designated storage areas, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintenance and Safety: Regularly check forklift equipment for faults or damages and report any issues, as well as maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety regulations and forklift operating procedures.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Consolidate pallets as needed, and perform other tasks to ensure the smooth flow of goods within the warehouse.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Skills: Basic computer/keyboarding skills, ability to read and comprehend written instructions, and perform simple math operations.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, sit, walk, push, pull, twist, and bend to the floor for the duration of a work period, as well as lift/carry/maneuver heavy material or equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Positive communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently with some direction.
