About the Opportunity

The Producers Guild of America is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations and HR Specialist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to combine your finance and HR expertise in a single role, overseeing all financial and human resources operations.

This is a full-time exempt position with a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $135,000, commensurate with skills and experience. Our benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, and providing exceptional employee support. You will also collaborate with our Chief Executive Officer and other Guild leadership to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote a positive and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage banking relationships and cash flows to ensure working capital
  • Prepare annual budget and quarterly and annual reporting packages
  • Collaborate with PEO and accountants to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Provide exceptional employee support, answering questions and assisting with HR-related inquiries

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Controller/HR professional
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations across different states and municipalities
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
