Responsibilities
  • Lead the Sleep Medicine program at USA, teaching students, housestaff, and fellows, and performing pulmonary-related procedures.
  • Direct the Sleep Center, evaluating patients with sleep disorders, and work with University Hospital Administration to develop and lead the planned USA Sleep Laboratory.
  • Collaborate with faculty members and pulmonary fellows to provide high-quality patient care and advance medical knowledge.
  • Contribute to basic and clinical research, publishing findings in reputable medical journals.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Pulmonary/Critical Care/Sleep Fellowship program.
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine and BE/BC in Pulmonary Diseases, Critical Care Medicine, and Sleep Medicine.
  • Ability to obtain a medical license and DEA for the state of Alabama.
