Pediatric Rheumatology Division Chief and Section Chief

Norton Children's Hospital is seeking an experienced Pediatric Rheumatologist to serve as Division Chief of Pediatric Rheumatology and Section Chief of Pediatric Rheumatology for the University of Louisville School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics. This leadership position plays a crucial role in advancing pediatric rheumatology care, education, and research within our institution.
About Norton Children's Rheumatology:
- We have a team of three pediatric rheumatologists with more than two decades of experience in providing exceptional patient care.
- We cater to patients from diverse cultural backgrounds across Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, and Southern Illinois.
- We utilize advanced technologies, including a new MSK Ultrasound machine, to provide state-of-the-art care.
- We are developing a multi-disciplinary lupus clinic in conjunction with Hepatology and Nephrology departments.
- We collaborate with pain psychology, pediatric behavioral and mental health, neuro immunology, and growing pediatric gastroenterology teams.
About UofL School of Medicine Division of Pediatric Rheumatology:
- We work closely with Adult Rheumatology and Internal Medicine Fellowship program to advance pediatric rheumatology care.
- We have clinical research support staff assisting with grant contracting and construction.
- We engage in the education of future pediatricians through our 72 categorical pediatric residents, 15 child neurology residents, 20 Med/Peds residents, and 35 Fellows.
- We actively participate in the Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Research Alliance (CARRA) and Pediatric Rheumatology Collaborative Study Group (PRCSG).
The University of Louisville School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics Division of Pediatric Rheumatology has partnered with Norton Children's Hospital for nearly 100 years, working together to care for patients, train doctors, conduct research, and innovate in the field of child health.
