Responsibilities:
  • Manage project scoping and budgeting, budget tracking, project team assembly and supervision, and delivery of the finished product.
  • Oversee a variety of projects across a mix of practices, including site investigation and characterization, site remediation, and stormwater management.
  • Manage environmental data management, evaluation, and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC).
  • Mentor junior team members in technical expertise and quality assurance procedures and provide supervision for field staff during on-site project work.
  • Prepare technical reports and assist with issuing proposals.
  • Procure and manage subcontractors.
  • Ensure a safe working environment and adherence to safe work practices.
Requirements:
  • BS or MS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • 6 to 15 years of solid technical experience, including 2+ years of experience with project management.
  • Familiarity with a variety of field methods for the collection of soil, groundwater, sediment, soil gas, and ambient air samples.
  • Understanding and experience working under Federal and State regulatory frameworks.
  • 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite.
  • Excellent technical communication skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Good safety record and understanding of safe work practices.
