About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team at Little Land. As a member of our Occupational Therapy team, you will play a vital role in helping children reach their full potential and develop the skills they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, plan, and implement occupational therapy services for a pediatric population, working closely with families and caregivers to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant(s), as necessary, to ensure high-quality care and support.
- Complete thorough documentation to support the delivery of Occupational Therapy services, including progress reports and patient outcomes.
- Measure performance and report on patient's medical record, ensuring accurate and timely data entry.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards, maintaining the highest level of professionalism and integrity in all aspects of practice.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in occupational therapy, attending training and professional development opportunities as needed.
Requirements:
- Masters degree (or equivalent) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current State of Texas License to practice Occupational Therapy.
- At least one year of experience working with pediatric populations, with a strong understanding of childhood development and learning.
Compensation:
This position is compensated competitively, with a rate of $75.00 per initial evaluation, $60.00 per re-evaluation, $50.00 per treatment hour, and $30.00 per hour for required training and meetings.
