Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at Houston Methodist. As an LVN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interprofessional healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to patients in a variety of settings, including inpatient and outpatient environments.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct health screenings, administer medications, and perform various medical procedures as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) program.
  • Current LVN licensure in the state of Texas.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • One year of experience as an LVN, preferably in a hospital setting.
