The Overnight Housekeeping Attendant plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding service to both guests and staff. This position is dedicated to maintaining the cleanliness and organization of guest accommodations, corridors, and other designated areas within the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Possess comprehensive knowledge of hotel services, features, and local attractions to effectively respond to guest inquiries.
  2. Exhibit attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed as assigned, while remaining flexible to additional duties as directed by supervisors.
  3. Stock and maintain cleaning carts, storage areas, and public spaces with necessary supplies and equipment.
  4. Ensure proper maintenance and usage of cleaning equipment.
  5. Monitor and uphold safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards in all assigned areas, including guest rooms and public spaces.
  6. Adhere to protocols for handling hazardous materials and maintain compliance with safety standards.
  7. Manage key control and security for all hotel keys and facilities.
  8. Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly.
  9. Handle lost and found items in accordance with hotel policies.
  10. Maintain punctuality and adhere to the scheduled work hours.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in hospitality or a similar environment is advantageous.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and follow detailed instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor are essential.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent bending, squatting, and overhead reaching may be required.
