We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Tax Accountant to join our finance team at Jobot, a leading digital enablement solutions provider. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of sales and use tax, including compliance, reporting, planning, and audits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee sales and use tax compliance, including preparation and filing of tax returns
  • Conduct research on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify potential tax savings opportunities
  • Collaborate with the finance team to develop and implement tax strategies that align with the company's financial goals
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports, including tax provision calculations
  • Coordinate and manage audits by tax authorities
  • Provide guidance and training to junior staff on sales and use tax matters
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate any changes to the relevant teams
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a tax accountant role, with a focus on sales and use tax
  • Proficiency in Sage or equivalent accounting software
  • Strong knowledge of sales tax and use tax laws and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
