Job Summary

The Screening for Life Program Director is a critical role within Arctic Slope Native Association, responsible for overseeing the management and monitoring of the Screening for Life program. This position requires a strong clinical background, with experience in program planning, administration, and public administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Management: Oversee the Screening for Life program, ensuring compliance with grantor standards and regulatory agencies.
  • Care Coordination: Manage and monitor care coordination for patient screenings and follow-up care.
  • Data Management: Provide comprehensive data management services for the program, including data analysis and reporting.
  • Operations and Employee Oversight: Oversee the operations of the Screening for Life program, including employee management and development.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Clinical Experience: Two to four years of clinical leadership, program planning, administration, or public administration experience.
  • Grant Management: Two to four years of grant management experience, with a preference for clinical data management experience.
  • Licensure and Certification: Current Alaska Registered Nurse License or another US state RN license with the ability to obtain an AK RN license within six months of hire.
  • Certifications: BLS Certification within six months of hire.

  • Collaboration and Communication: Ability to coordinate and oversee the collaborative process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care coordination for patient screenings and follow-up.
  • Grant Administration: Demonstrate ability to read, write, evaluate, and administer grants, grant budgets, work plans, and required reports.
  • Health Promotion and Screening: Demonstrate understanding of appropriate health promotion, screening, re-screening, and diagnostic and treatment services per guidelines set forth by the CDC and clinical guidelines adopted by.
  • Data Management: Ability to input data and maintain applicable clinical data management systems.
  • Problem-Solving and Communication: Ability to calmly manage difficult or emotional situations, identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, and ensure patient/client confidentiality at all times.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and email.
