Job Title: District Court Clerk II

Join the Hawaii State Judiciary as a District Court Clerk II and play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of the court system.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to serve as a District Court Clerk II. In this role, you will be responsible for authoring the official court record, preparing documents, and performing other duties as required.

Responsibilities:
  • Author the official court record in a court of limited jurisdiction for District Court trial proceedings.
  • Prepare documents ordered by the court.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from high school or equivalent.
  • One year of work experience in a court or legal setting, which included the preparation and/or processing of legal forms and documents in court proceedings.
  • Six months of work performed in a courtroom setting with the responsibility of authoring the official permanent record of court proceedings.
