Job Summary

We're seeking a Finance Manager to join our Cortex team. As a key member of our finance team, you will partner with GTM and product leadership teams to provide valuable insights and financial leadership to the Cortex business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive long-term financial models for the Cortex business
  • Evaluate tradeoffs in team planning, investment, and operational strategies to optimize resource allocation
  • Execute ad-hoc projects related to strategic and financial analyses as required by the business
  • Collaborate closely with Cortex leadership to derive insights, shape strategy, and drive actionable takeaways that align with organizational goals
  • Monitor and analyze key financial metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas of concern
  • Present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics (or similar)
  • 7+ years of related experience with evidence of career progression
  • Prior SaaS experience is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with SaaS metrics and subscription-based revenue models
  • Analytical problem-solver with the ability to gather, analyze and synthesize large amounts of data
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with executive-level business partners

Palo Alto Networks offers a competitive compensation package, including a starting base salary of $244,000 per year, restricted stock units, and a bonus.
