Job Title: Registered Nurse Inpatient Surgical

HCA Florida Healthcare is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse Inpatient Surgical position is a critical role in our hospital's Operating Room department. You will work closely with our medical team to provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Your expertise and compassion will make a significant difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient condition during admission and each scheduled shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
  • Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patient's medical record.
  • Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures.
Requirements:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Associate Degree or Registered Nurse Diploma.
  • Registered Nurse or Advance Nurse Practitioner licensure.
