Duration: 6 months temporary (may be extended)
Pay Rate: $18/hr
Shift: Monday to Friday – first shift: 8am-5pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement standard operating procedures for basic laboratory equipment cleaning and support: perform regular and aseptic cleaning of labware, replenish laboratory supplies, organize glassware and materials, and ensure workspaces are adequately stocked for production staff.
- Conduct labware sanitation, solvent preparation, and maintain essential inventory levels to avoid disruptions in the production timeline.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and standard operating procedures, ensuring cleanliness in all operational areas.
- Examine glassware for any damage during the cleaning and restocking phases, determining whether to repair or discard items to mitigate safety risks.
- Responsibilities may also encompass materials measurement, operation of laboratory machinery, and record maintenance necessary to facilitate manufacturing workflows.
- Maintain precise and comprehensive records, including batch data, work orders, inventory documentation, data entry, and business system transactions.
- Execute inventory counts and manage inventory transactions, ensuring accuracy in stock levels.
- Complete, distribute, and archive records in accordance with internal document control standards.
- May be tasked with additional related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience in a laboratory or manufacturing setting is preferred, though not mandatory.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with effective time management skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with computer business applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Capability to stand, walk, and remain active for 6-7 hours per day while performing job responsibilities, moving throughout lab locations.
- Ability to handle (lift, carry, move) objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $18.00 per hour
