Our program serves individuals recovering from traumatic injuries or illnesses who require a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary approach to build skills and maximize independence.
Key Responsibilities- Assist licensed PTs in implementing therapy plans of care under direct supervision.
- Delegate and direct supportive personnel to enhance patient care services.
- Communicate with supervising PTs to ensure identification of patient needs and modification of treatment plans.
- Participate in patient education and training of families, students, and coworkers.
- Perform other professional duties associated with patient care within the scope of practice.
- Associate's Degree in a PT Assistant program.
- Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA).
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
