Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Underground Miner I (Tech 3 or higher) to join our Leeville operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating various pieces of equipment to meet site production goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate hand, powered, or mobile equipment to meet site production goals.
  • Comply with Loss Control, Environmental, and NGM policies and procedures.
  • Perform pre-operational checks on all equipment and machinery prior to use.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of NGM's safety protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve site production goals.
Requirements
  • Comply with state and federal health and safety regulations.
  • Teamwork and work practices.
  • SKILLS - 8 OF 11 ARE REQUIRED. OF THE 8, TRUCKING AND UTILITIES ARE MANDATORY.
  • Haul Truck Operation, Backfilling, Rockbreaker (Leeville only) optional, Conveyor Operation, Backfill mixing (Chukar only), Slickline * optional, Water Truck Operation, Dewatering - sumps/pumps operation, Wash Bay Operation, Utilities, Nipper.
