Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist I to join our team at UNC Therapy Services. As a Physical Therapist I, you will provide evidence-based physical therapy evaluation, planning, administration, and treatment of patients with a wide range of orthopedic and sports-related injuries, post-surgical care, and geriatrics.

Responsibilities
  • Administer diagnostic tests and evaluations to assess patient mobility and related impairments
  • Teach and supervise graduate Physical Therapy students and/or clinical fellows/residents
  • Analyze results of diagnostic and therapeutic testing to establish patient goals and modify treatment programs
  • Select and apply current and advanced techniques to provide quality and efficient rehabilitative services
  • Organize and prioritize care according to patient/family needs
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new clinical programs
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of North Carolina
  • BLS certification
Work Environment

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, Tuesday-Saturday. The selected candidate will work closely with a team of 10+ physical therapists and other outpatient therapy providers, physicians, and advanced practice providers.
