Ideal Candidate Profile

The successful applicant will be eager to engage with an apprenticeship program such as the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors' (PHCC) or the Air Conditioning Trade Association (ACTA), with the goal of transitioning from our Pre-Fabrication Shop to fieldwork in a commercial construction setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute various tasks, including but not limited to: fabrication, staging, and inventory transportation.
  • Adhere to diagrams and specifications to accurately fabricate components.
  • Load and unload materials from designated storage areas, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles, requiring frequent handling and grasping.
  • Install protective measures like bracing, padding, or strapping to safeguard inventory during transport.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Comply with safety protocols and encourage fellow associates to uphold the same standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to safety and detail.
  • Present a neat appearance in line with industry standards.
  • Demonstrate reliability and a strong work ethic; willingness to learn is essential.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Capable of working in environments with exposure to loud noises, dust, gas, and/or fumes.
