About the Role
At Velocity Enterprises, we are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Social Assistant. As a Social Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in need, providing care and assistance in various settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide basic care and support to individuals with disabilities, including personal care, household tasks, and daily routines.
- Assist with education and care of children and adolescents, including homework support, leisure activities, and daily routines.
- Support nursing staff, educational professionals, and caregivers in their tasks, providing professional assistance and guidance.
- Develop and implement daily routines and care plans for individuals, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with parents, educators, and social pedagogical professionals to provide comprehensive support to individuals.
Requirements
- Secondary school leaving certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Basic knowledge in child and youth welfare, disability assistance, and nursing.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a foreign language.
