Aquatic Program Instructor

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year

We are seeking a highly motivated Aquatic Program Instructor to join our team at the Rockwood R-6 School District. As an instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and coaching assigned aquatics programs for youth or adults.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills, effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work well as part of a team and individually.

Below are some essential functions of this role:

  • Provide coaching/instruction for assigned aquatics programs.
  • Responsible for opening and closing the facility, and writing and instructing the workouts as needed.
  • Serve as lifeguard as needed.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous competitive swim experience or swim coaching experience preferred.
  • Red Cross Lifeguard Certification required or ability to obtain.
