We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Specialist to join our team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As a key member of our data management team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and quality of our master data.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, validating and executing data create and change requests in our data hub. This includes identifying master data exceptions, analyzing and resolving issues with the assistance of our master data steward, conducting data quality audits and compiling issues and impacts for review and action with business stakeholders. Additionally, you will perform basic statistical and relational analysis of large data sets to identify and correct inconsistencies, execute data cleansing, data enrichment and testing cycles for ERP upgrades and projects, and participate in governance projects to identify and implement process improvements and increase efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must have a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as computer science or business administration. You should also have at least one year of experience working with computer system applications, including Microsoft Office (E-mail, Excel and Word) and Oracle ERP. In addition, you should have knowledge of data domain and business operations, as well as skills with data handling and manipulation. Experience with master data management and data tools is preferred.
