Greenway Kia East is seeking a dedicated Cashier for our Service Department.

The Cashier/Receptionist plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. This position involves answering incoming calls and greeting visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor, ensuring a positive experience in our Service Department.

The Cashier/Receptionist efficiently manages all transactions related to service and repairs for our esteemed clientele. Responsibilities include processing payments for services rendered, parts, and materials, as well as preparing estimates and invoices. Proficiency in relevant software is essential for recording payment details and managing customer information, including service history and contact data. The role may also require calculating charges for materials, repairs, and applicable taxes, along with a solid understanding of various warranty types.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome all customers in a courteous and professional manner, addressing their inquiries and concerns.
  • Process payments for services and products accurately.
  • Manage incoming calls and direct them appropriately.
  • Utilize the complete POS system and other necessary software effectively.
  • Maintain accountability for the cash drawer.
  • Collaborate with department personnel to resolve questions and issues.
  • Address customer complaints or escalate them as needed.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and educational opportunities as required.
  • Adhere to all safety and security protocols.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience with point-of-sale systems and credit/debit card transactions.
  • Strong mathematical skills with the ability to process financial transactions quickly and accurately in a dynamic environment.
  • Capability to multitask effectively.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Prior experience in customer service or a related field is preferred.
  • Friendly attitude and helpful nature.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities, particularly under pressure.
  • High level of trustworthiness and security awareness.
