Position Available: Adult ICU Stepdown Unit Nurse

Overview

Become a vital part of our team in the Adult ICU Stepdown Unit, a specialized 28-bed facility that serves a diverse array of patients with complex medical requirements. This position offers an exceptional opportunity for nursing professionals to expand their expertise and knowledge through exposure to a wide variety of clinical cases. Our unit is supported by dedicated services, including a floor Pharmacist, Mobility Aid, and Patient Care Liaison.

New Graduate RNs joining our team will receive a $3,000 sign-on bonus and have access to a Loan Repayment program of up to $15,000. Please consult your recruiter for further details.

Role Summary

As a crucial member of our healthcare team, you will deliver safe and effective age-specific nursing care to patients and their families. By adhering to the nursing process, you will assist individuals in achieving, maintaining, and optimizing their health outcomes.

Requirements for All Applicants

  • Comply with all organizational policies and standards.
  • Refer to departmental documentation for specific roles and responsibilities provided during orientation.
  • Ensure adherence to protocols for protecting the confidentiality of patient information.

Qualifications

  • Possess a Diploma in Nursing from an Accredited Program, or an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN).
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
  • A Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) is also desirable.

Skills and Certifications

  • Demonstrate knowledge of nursing processes and practices.
  • Effectively utilize various technical equipment for patient care and clinical therapies.

Licenses and Certifications

  • Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Ohio upon hire.
  • Hold a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during orientation.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification may be required based on clinical standards.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification may be necessary based on clinical requirements.
