Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement integrated test plans to ensure seamless testing processes.
  • Coordinate with multiple maintenance activities to gather information and provide technical guidance.
  • Evaluate test sequence networks to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure accurate schedules and test plans are developed and implemented.
  • Provide instruction and guidance to ship's force, prime contractor, FMA, and AITs.
  • Responsible for maintaining knowledge of Navy QA and Planning procedures.
  • Utilize diagnostic equipment effectively.
  • Knowledgeable in Navy Quality assurance practices and Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM) chapters relating to maintenance of diesel engines.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in general marine propulsion or power generation experience in operations, maintenance, repair, or inspections.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
  • Possess Basic computer skills.
  • Possess effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of proper use of diagnostic equipment.
  • Knowledgeable in Navy Quality assurance practices and Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM) chapters relating to maintenance of diesel engines.
