The ideal candidate will possess at least 3 years of experience in residential construction management, with a focus on ADU projects. They will be expected to demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and execution of residential construction projects, specifically ADUs.
  • Manage budgeting, scheduling, and allocation of resources.
  • Ensure compliance with local building regulations and codes.
  • Coordinate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Promptly address and resolve any issues to prevent project delays and cost overruns.
  • Provide leadership to project teams, maintaining high standards for timeliness and quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
  • Preferred certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCM (Certified Construction Manager).
  • At least 3 years of experience in residential construction management, with specific experience in managing ADU projects.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and understand project finance.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience managing diverse teams.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of building regulations and codes specific to San Diego.

Additional Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of project management experience.
  • Ability to commute/relocate to San Diego, CA 92109.
  • Willingness to travel up to 100% as needed.
