We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Critical Care Unit at Ascension Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care and work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Critical Care Unit, including implementing and monitoring patient care plans, monitoring and recording patient condition, and communicating with the healthcare team as needed.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, including assessing and coordinating patient discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, and ensure that all patient care is provided in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support certification preferred.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
