About the Role

Dignity Health is seeking a highly skilled Dietitian to join our team at Mercy San Juan Medical Center. As a Dietitian, you will play a critical role in providing medical nutritional therapy to patients, assessing their nutritional status, and developing personalized plans to maintain or improve their nutritional health.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments to identify patients' nutritional needs and develop tailored plans to address them.
• Counsel patients and their families on healthy eating habits, food requirements, and therapeutic nutrition.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in nutrition therapy to provide evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience as a Registered Dietitian, with a strong preference for experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Valid registration as a Registered Dietitian.
• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or a related field.
