Agricultural Loan Officer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Agricultural Loan Officer to join our team at GPAC. As an Agricultural Loan Officer, you will be responsible for originating and managing agricultural loans, working closely with farmers, ranchers, and other agricultural businesses to understand their financial needs and provide tailored loan solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Originate and manage agricultural loans, including credit analysis and risk assessment
  • Develop and maintain relationships with agricultural clients, understanding their financial needs and providing tailored loan solutions
  • Work closely with other departments, such as credit and risk management, to ensure effective loan management
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, ensuring that our loan products and services meet the evolving needs of our agricultural clients

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in commercial and farm lending, with a focus on agricultural lending
  • Strong credit analysis and risk assessment skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Strong business development skills, with the ability to identify new business opportunities and grow our agricultural loan portfolio
